During his career he has been leading various own projects (Matúš Jakabčic CZ-SK Big Band, Matúš Jakabčic Tentet, 13 Piece Swing and Latin band, Stop Time, Bee Connection, Madhouse, Matúš Jakabčic Quartet, EU Big Band...).
